General: Deposit Policy: One night’s deposit is required at the time of booking per room reserved. When multiple room bookings are made, each room reserved needs its own valid credit card to hold that reservation. In this case, each credit card for each room given will be charged a first night’s deposit. General Cancellation Policy: We ask for 48 hours notice to cancel a reservation. There is a $25.00 processing fee for each cancellation. If you cancel less than 48 hours of arrival, you forfeit your first day’s deposit and the balance of the reservation. However, that $25.00 cancellation fee can be credited to any future reservation made within the same calendar year. Please inform us when making future reservations of your original reservation or cancellation number. Please contact the West Point Motel if you have questions. Please bring confirmation letter and proper I.D. at the time of check-in. Special (Two Nights): During certain events, The West Point Motel will require at least a two night minimum stay. The events that require this policy are: Reception Day, Acceptance Day, Ring Weekend, and Home Football Weekends. The following policy apply to the above events: when the initial reservation is made, the first night will be charged to your credit card. Your reservation will be charged for the 2nd night’s stay ten (10) days before the start of the reservation(s). If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance of arrival date, your credit card will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. Within the 48 hours prior to arrival the customer is responsible for the two nights stay if the West Point Motel is unable to resell the reservation. However, if an additional reservation is made within the same calendar year, that $25.00 fee can be credited towards your next reservation. Please, when making your next reservation, make the motel aware of your original reservation with either a confirmation number or cancellation number. Any questions, please contact us. All taxes due will be charged at the time of check-in. The accommodations selected will either have two queen size beds, with a four person limit, or a king size bed, with a two person limit. Sorry, we do not offer cots or rollaways. Pets are not allowed. Additionally, guests of the West Point Motel, Inc., must be at least 21 years of age to rent rooms. However, military members can rent rooms at the age of 18 as long as they show their military I.D. at the time of booking or arrival. Additional policies may apply. In the event that you need to change your credit card payment information for the second night’s balance [at least ten (10) prior to arrival], please contact us. Otherwise, the same credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance. An e-mail receipt will be provided. Please bring your confirmation letter and proper I.D. at time of check-in. Plebe Parent: Deposit Policy: Full payment of the entire stay is due at the time of booking for Plebe Parent week. Three nights minimum stay is required for this event. Cancellation Policy: To obtain a refund (less one night’s room fee per cancelled room) you must cancel in writing not later than 30 days in advance of the event. No exceptions to this policy will be made. After this date refunds and credits will not be issued. Reservations made are the property of the West Point Motel, Inc., and are not transferable to other parties without the prior consent of the West Point Motel Management. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in the forfeiture of the reservation(s) and monies paid. Graduation: Deposit Policy: four (4) nights minimum stay for Graduation Week. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance of payment is due one year before that event. The West Point Motel will inform you through either e-mail or telephone of any remaining balance due. Reservations for Graduation Week can be made beginning Plebe Parent Weekend. Cancellation Policy: To obtain a refund less one nights room charge, you must cancel not later than two months before the event. All requests must be in writing. If you want to transfer your reservation to another party, you must first obtain approval from the West Point Motel Management and provide the person(s) to whom are selling the accommodations all confirmation papers originally sent to you. The West Point Motel will not participate in the exchange of funds for transferred rooms in this matter. Plebe Parent and Graduation: The maximum number of persons per room is four (4) for our rooms with two queen size beds and two (2) for our rooms with one king size bed for both Plebe Parent Week and Graduation Week. Payments: Payments not received by the “due date” set by the West Point Motel at time of booking will result in the cancellation of your reservation(s). For both Plebe Parent Week and Graduation Week your accommodation will be either a room with two queen size beds with a four person limit or a room with one king size bed with a two person limit. Your confirmation letter will indicate the type of room selected. All rooms at the West Point Motel are non-smoking. An additional $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged to your stay if someone smokes in these rooms. Cots and cribs are not provided. Guests of the West Point Motel, Inc., must be at least 21 years of age to rent rooms. However, military members can rent rooms at the age of 18 as long as they show their military I.D. at the time of booking or arrival. All taxes (sales and county occupancy taxes) on the entire stay will be due and charged at check-in. Taxes subject to change. Please bring your confirmation letter and proper I.D. at time of check-in.
